Kyle primarily works in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business formation and governance, real estate, and estate planning.  He advises clients in purchase and sale transactions.  Industry agnostic, Kyle has helped clients successfully close deals within manufacturing, transportation, hospitality, retail, e-commerce, technology, medical, and multiple professional services industries.  He also serves as outside general counsel to numerous privately held companies with revenue ranging from $500k to more than $1B annually.

Kyle is a results-oriented practitioner and pragmatic business advisor who defines success as helping clients achieve desired outcomes effectively and efficiently.

He is a rated Super Lawyer®, and was recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as a  “Power30: Merger and Acquisition” honoree in 2023 and 2024.

When he’s not supporting his clients, you will find Kyle coaching youth sports, sampling one of the Twin Cities’ many culinary treasures, reading a book, visiting Home Depot (again.. and again. . .and again), spending time with friends, or just enjoying being a dad to his two energetic sons.

Kyle has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.
