As part of his practice, Leonard Segal conducts workplace investigations for clients. On October 28, 2019, Lenny presented a session on conducting workplace investigations as part of Minnesota Continuing Legal Education’s Employee Discipline & Discharge CLE. Lenny’s session, entitled “Getting the Facts – Workplace Investigations from Start to Finish,” walked attendees through the investigation process from pre-investigation considerations and selection of an investigator, to conducting the investigation itself, to post-investigation activities. Lenny’s goal was to provide attendees with practical suggestions for conducting such investigations in a thorough and timely fashion. Lenny’s session was based on the chapter he wrote in 2015 for Minnesota CLE’s “Internal Employment Investigations Handbook.”
