Minnesota CLE’s 2023 Business Law Institute was held on May 1-2, 2023. Because business lawyers often are faced with employment law issues, Leonard Segal was asked to present a session on employment law entitled Rapid Fire – 20 Things Every Business Lawyer Should Know About Employment Law.
Covering 20 topics in one hour meant things moved quickly, but Lenny was able to cover a number of topics including the Family & Medical Leave Act, pregnancy-related topics, release agreements, misclassification issues, hybrid workplace considerations, sick and safe time, wage theft, minimum wage, , and much, much more! Lenny’s session was very well received by attendees, who learned a lot about employment law while having fun at the same time.
