Minnesota CLE’s 2023 Solo & Small Firm Conference was held in Duluth, Minnesota on August 7-8, 2023. With all of the recent employment law changes in Minnesota, Leonard Segal was asked to present two sessions at this year’s conference.
Titled New Employment Laws That Impact Every Employer of Any Size – and Most Employees! Marijuana, Paid Family and Medical Leave, and More, Lenny covered a wide range of employment law updates, ranging from Minnesota’s new non-compete law, to cannabis testing in the workplace, to Minnesota sick and safe time and paid family and medical leave, to restrictions on pay inquiries, to pregnancy accommodations and break times for nursing mothers.
